Going from domestic to imported…
Well looks like I’m finally taking the plunge. Good-bye to my Pontiac G6 and hello to Honda CRV. Since I started driving, I have always driven a domestic car – Ford, GM, and Pontiac. No wonder I thought a car as a full liability and certainly not an asset. After driving my spouse’s CRV for the last couple of years, I have a new appreciation for the imported vehicles and I am quite excited about picking mine up this week. Don’t get me wrong, my G6 (feelin so fly like a G6, like a G6…) has served me very well over the years, 6 years in fact. I have nearly 200,000 km on it and still would recommend it to anyone – although it’s now considered a classic with the closing of Pontiac! I’m just ready to move on to bigger, safer and more rugged AWD. Thank you G6! I have enjoyed our time together and I wish you well on your next adventure… perhaps our paths will cross again – unless I do a little off-roading with my new CRV!
